The Australasian Plastics and Rubber Institute connects professionals across Australasia who work in plastics, rubber and allied polymer industries. We've been doing it since 1945.
APRI is concerned with the science and technology of polymers. Our members are researchers, engineers, manufacturers, educators and students working across the plastics and rubber industries in Australia and New Zealand.
The Institute has been independent since 1992, when Australasian members voted to separate from the UK body and run their own affairs. It is governed by an Australasian Council drawn from state representatives, and every financial member can vote and stand for it.
About the APRIAPRI does not organise these conferences. They are listed because members ask about them and because the Institute keeps close ties with the International Rubber Conference Organisation (IRCO).

Theme: Future Rubber Technology toward Sustainability
One of the two anchor meetings on the IRCO calendar. New work in the science, technology and engineering of rubbers and rubber products, weighted this year towards sustainability and towards bringing the next generation of rubber professionals through.
Membership starts at $20 a year. It brings the quarterly journal, member rates at every APRI event, full voting rights and a place on a register the Australasian polymer industry has kept since 1945.
